The Legend of Drizzt

I am currently reading a book in the Legend of Drizzt series. Here is a picture of it.

I would gladly teach him. I would revel in his successes as much as in my own, but I would demand, always I would demand, a sense humility, dedication, and an understanding of this power I was teaching, an appreciation of the potential for destruction. I would teach no one who did not continue to display an appropriate level of compassion and community. To learn how to use a sword, one must first master when to use a sword.

You should create a list of all of the books and/or series that you have read as a page element. I bet that would be interesting.

I've read over 60 books this year. I started out keeping track of them all, but after so many, it was really just too difficult. I LOVE LOVE LOVE to read. I'm into Fantasy/Sci Fi too. Some of my favorite books/series include:
His Dark Materials By Philip Pullman. The first book of which recently became a major motion picture - The Golden Compass
Harry Potter - OF COURSE! ;) Although the last book was a little disappointing, but it was the end of a series, what more could you really ask for?
The Discworld Series by Terry Pratchett. VERY satirical, but it gets me just right. Along the lines of Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy, which I really didn't care for that much. (Go Figure)
Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card is a FANTASTIC book. The series after that takes some interesting turns. It's more Sci-Fi than fantasy. You should really check it out. You might enjoy it. I haven't read the whole series, but I've read the four that follow Ender's story (Ender's Game, Speaker for the Dead, Xenocide and Children of the Mind). Ender starts out very young, but grows up between the first and second books. So after that the series really changes. I think the Ones that follow Bean (another child in the first book) are more like the first, but I'd have to read them... which I just may...

Someone recommended the Dark Elf trilogy to me once, but I never did get into it.

What's your favorite book/Series?

My favorite is of course, The Legend of Drizzt series. It includes the Dark Elf Triligy, the Icewind Dale Triligy, and the Legacy of the Drow series. I just finished the third book in the Icewind Dale Triligy two hours ago and I just can't get enough of this fantastic series.
